SHICKSHINNY — To the 23-year-old dude who put together a music festival in his backyard over the weekend, you’re the real MVP.
When Chris Castillo realized their was a lot of talented bands in the area that needed a platform to perform, he created one at his house and called it Yardstock.
“There haven’t been too many spots to throw shows in the area,” Castillo said. “Instead of having talented bands stop playing, I was willing to offer up my house for them to play.”
The third annual event had 52 bands perform throughout the weekend.
The only question is, where did everyone go to the bathroom?
