Grrrls Night. Free! 2016 is waning, and a faction of females in Scranton’s arts community are gathering to give it a proper sendoff. Join area poets, musicians and spoken word artists from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 11 at Ale Mary’s, 126 Franklin St., Scranton, for a free, all ages event (content crassness varies) followed by an equally free, all ages open mic. MEPACON. $50. Mid-Eastern Pennsylvania Hobby Gaming Convention is hitting Scranton for the second time this year, and $50 at the door nets a three-day pass for unlimited board and card games, RPGs, live-action role playing and gaming with miniatures. It all goes down from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Nov. 11, noon to 2 a.m. Nov. 12 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at Hilton Scranton & Concerence Center, 100 Adams Ave., Scranton. Here We Are in Spain. $7. Improv comedy group Here We Are in Spain will perform 8 p.m. Nov. 12 at AFA Gallery, 514 Lackawanna Ave., Suite 1, Scranton. Fall Festival & Bazaar. Free to $5. Scranton Jewish Community Center will hold its second fall festival & bazaar from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 13 at its 601 Jefferson Ave., Scranton location.
