WILKES-BARRE — Making its debut on the main stage, Cabinet, Northeastern Pennsylvania jamgrass ambassadors, will perform at 8 p.m. Dec. 23 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, with special guest Holly Bowling.

After a full year of touring the festival and theater circuit across the U.S. and performing with a bevy of acclaimed musicians, the Americana seven-piece comes home to play its rootsy music where its roots were laid.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 4 and can be purchased through the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org or by phone at 570-826-1100. A Kirby member pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 through the same outlets.

According to a press release from the Kirby Center, Holly Bowling is a “classically trained pianist who uses her technique to reinterpret the songs of jamband luminaries such as Phish and the Grateful Dead.”

Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show. A limited number of “CabFam” ticket upgrades will be made available through the band’s “general store” at www.cabinetmusic.com.
