Williams Early Album Release Party. Free. Grant Williams will release his debut album “Suspended Animation” five days before it is available in stores and on iTunes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Oct. 14 into 15 at Thirst T’s Bar & Grill, 120 Lincoln St., Olyphant. Katie Kelly, The Onyx Oak and Behind the Grey start off the evening before Williams takes the stage with drummer Chris Langan to perform the new album in its entirety.

The Bonfire at The Iron Furnaces. Tickets are $15 online at and $20 at the gate. Admission is free for children 12 and under. The annual event takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Scranton Iron Furnaces, 159 Cedar Ave. The event features live music by Light Weight, Colleen & Jimmy Reynolds and traditional German brass oompah act Schutzengiggles as well as fire twirlers, a jack-o’-lantern competition, a Day of the Dead ofrenda, live theater, the ceremonial lighting of the bonfire and more. Halloween attire is encouraged. The Bonfire Festival benefits the Anthracite Heritage Museum.

Fall Festival at PNC Field. Admission is $5. For $10 patrons get the pumpkin of their choice and unlimited inflatable rides. The event takes place 12 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 at PNC Field, 235 Montage Mountain Rd., Moosic. It features a pumpkin patch, pictures with the Triple-A National Championship Trophy & Governor’s Cup, hayrides, inflatables, a scavenger hunt, fall crafts, pumpkin carving, a photo booth, live music and fall themed food and drink. Q3 Boss Lady Mixer and Costume Party. $10 suggested donation. An evening of networking, music and beer tasting takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 14 at The Leonard Theater, 335-339 Adams Ave., Scranton. Boss ladies of NEPA are invited to attend with a purse full of business cards and participate in making connections with other businesswomen in the area.
