SCRANTON — The South Side Bandits landed a gig in New York City, and The Vault Tap & Kitchen has arranged for fans of the band to travel to see them play.

The rock quartet performs at 9 p.m. Oct. 22 at Arlene’s Grocery, 95 Stanton St., New York, N.Y. A coach bus leaves at 4 p.m. Oct. 22 from the Giant Food & Drugstore in the Green Ridge Plaza, 1600 Nay Aug Ave., Scranton. Transportation departs from New York City at midnight and is expected to be back in Scranton around 3 a.m.

The trendy Arlene’s Grocery has hosted such acts as Lana Del Rey and Arcade Fire, and the South Side Bandits take the rock club stage for a headlining set with supporting acts opening the night of music and an additional act following them to wind down the evening.

Tickets for the show cost $45, which includes the round trip bus ride and admission to the performance. Payments can be made via PayPal to thevaultscranton@gmail.com. The Vault requests patrons send payment labeled as “Friend/Family” to avoid fees and they include the names of guests being paid for in the notes.

Any questions concerning payment and securing a seat on the bus should be forwarded to thevaultscranton@gmail.com.
