Penn’s Peak gets blue. $24/$29. “Tuff Enuff” performers The Fabulous Thunderbirds, 17-year-old guitar player Quinn Sullivan, and blues artist Alexis P. Suter & the Ministers of Sound will play 325 Maury Rd., Jim Thorpe venue Penn’s Peak at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Haunted jail tours. $7/$10. The Old Jail Museum is housed within an 1871 jail aptly named Old Jail. The jail, at 128 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, lays claim to being haunted by inmates who were executed as well as Molly Maguires. Ghost tours run from Oct. 1 through Oct. 15. The museum will give tours from 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a fee of $10 for adults and $7 for students. Children under 12 are not permitted due to the alleged ghost stories involving real inmates at the Old Jail. For more information, call 570-325-5259.

Octoberfest. $5. If you like your food and beer with a side of live polka music, Blue Mountain Resort’s Oktoberfest is the place to be. The event runs from noon until 8 p.m. Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 at 1660 Blue Mountain Dr., Palmerton. For more information, call 484-225-8983.
