WILKES-BARRE — Singer/songwriter Boz Scaggs will return to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12.

Tickets for the event go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday (10 a.m. Wednesday for Kirby Center members) and range from $39.50 to $75 (limited Gold Circle seating). To purchase, call 570-826-1100, go to kirbycenter.org or visit the venue’s box office on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.

Scaggs rose to prominence in the 1960s as a member of Steve Miller Band. He appeared on US Billboard charts several times throughout the 1970s with singles like “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle.” His latest album, “A Fool to Care,” was released in 2015.
