The Dark Matter show features performers Dose The Alien, Men-Ji, Tantrum, B2B and Louie J, making this body moving bill an impressive one. Candy’s Place Fashion Show and Luncheon. $25 for adults. $12.50 for children. Support patients of Candy’s Place as the organization holds its seventh annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 10, at The Woodlands, 1073 Highway 315, Plains Township. The event features a silent purse auction, themed baskets, shopping and raffles. Proceeds provide free services to Candy’s Place patients while they are in treatment and one year post treatment. Patrons are invited to get into the spirit of the fashion show by dressing or accessorizing to match the corresponding color of the cancer dear to their hearts. Giant’s Despair Hillclimb. Admission and parking are free. An average of 80 racers compete to see who can negotiate the hill fastest from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 9 and 10 on East Northampton Street in Laurel Run. There is a walking path from the pits to the fan favorite spot, “The Devil’s Elbow,” and foods trucks are present at both locations. The event is rain or shine.
