Sesame Street Live brings ‘Elmo Makes Music’ to Mohegan Sun Arena

WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and the gang from Sesame Street visit the Wyoming Valley for a five show residency Sept. 9-11 at the Mohegan Sun Arena, 255 Highland Park Blvd.

Sesame Street Live: “Elmo Makes Music” follows Jenny, an enthusiastic new music teacher who arrives on Sesame Street to find her instruments missing. Jenny’s Muppet friends come to her aid by discovering new instruments in everyday items like rubber duckies, trash can lids and cookie jars. Elmo and Abby Cadabby teach children the music can be made and enjoyed by everyone.

Showtimes are 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9; 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 10; and 2 p.m. Sept. 11.

Tickets for Sesame Street Live cost $18 and $25, and a limited number of $35 Gold Circle seats and $65 Sunny Seats are also available. The Sunny Seat package features premium show seating and a pre-show meet and greet with Elmo and another Sesame Street character.
