WILKES-BARRE — Following his co-headlining tour with Bad Company, Joe Walsh has announced additional tour dates.

He performs at 8 p.m. Aug. 4 at the F.M. Kirby Kirby Center, 71 Public Square as part of the new PNC Celebrity Series. Tickets for the “Walsh Toor 2016” go on sale at 10 a.m. May 27, at the Kirby box office, online at kirbycenter.org and by phone at 570-826-1100. Kirby members can buy tickets starting at 10 a.m. May 26 during a pre-sale.

Walsh is joined by Barnstorm collaborator Joe Vitale on drums, Chad Cromwell, Waddy Wachtel on guitar, Larry Young on bass, Jimmy Wallace on keyboards, DJ Clayton James and background vocalists Leslie Fuller, Lois Mahalia, Windy Wagner and Rickey Washingston.

Walsh has had an extensive career with the Eagles, the James Gang and solo efforts. His catalogue of music features greats like “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Funk 49,” “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Life’s Been Good To Me So Far.”

Recently, Walsh contributed to the documentary “Citizen Soldier” with the original song “No Man’s Land” and has collaborated with Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and original James Gang guitarist Glenn Swartz.
