PITTSTON — At 7:30 p.m. April 15, Pittston Area High School will host professional wrestling organization Chikara for a fundraiser to benefit Pittston anti-bullying organization Zero Conflict.

According to Chikara’s website, the Philadelphia-based organization hasn’t held an event in Northeastern Pennsylvania “in… a REALLY (sic) long time.” The show, titled The Smell of Fear, is part of Chikara’s 16th season of professional wrestling action.

Chikara shows are family-friendly affairs that often feature colorful in-ring performers. The promotion’s current champion, Princess Kimberlee, was crowned at the end of Chikara’s 15th season in December 2015.

Tickets to The Smell of Fear are on sale now at chikarapro.com. Prices start at $40 for first row, $30 for second row and $20 for general admission.
