Ziti dinner: Sponsored by the West Wyoming Hose Co #1. Enjoy a ziti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27. The dinner is at the Hose Co. Banquet Hall, 926 Shoemaker Avenue, West Wyoming. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Takeouts are available. Proceeds benefit the volunteer hose company. Tickets can be obtained from any member or by calling the Banquet Hall at 570-693-3660.

Consider the Source: $8. The hard-to-define trio brings together progressive rock, jazz fusion and sounds from across the globe, and they’re playing at 10 p.m. Feb. 26 at the River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 North River St., Plains. Guitar player Gabriel Marin is considered a virtuoso among peers and fans alike, but he shares leads with his bandmates in this fluid, improvisational group that blends all of their influences into something completely original.

A Comedy Fundraiser: $20. Leadership Wilkes-Barre “Team Kirby” presents a night of comedy at 9 p.m. Feb. 26 at Wise Crackers Comedy Club at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The evening feature comedians Stephanie Peter, David James and Scott Bruce and benefits Team Kirby’s mission to beautify and enrich community awareness of Kirby Park for current and future generations. Doors open at 8 p.m., and tickets are available by emailing Team Kirby at [email protected].

Winter Booze & Bruise Ball: $3. Join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Roller Radicals as they host a night of live music and dancing at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at The Susquehanna Tavern, 167 Susquehanna Ave., Exeter. Acts Silhouette Lies and Signs & Wonders will provide the entertainment. The $3 cover includes a complimentary draft, happy hour from 8 to 9 p.m. and live music all night.
