Winter Along the River: Free! A sled-dog team, nature and wildlife hikes, maple-sugaring demonstration, environmental education, hot chocolate, s’mores, doughnuts and more will be part of the fun at Nesbitt Park, Wilkes-Barre from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 21. ‘Roman Holiday’: Free! Fans of classic movies will enjoy watching a young Audrey Hepburn star as a princess on the run, who sets herself free from her official duties in order to enjoy seeing Rome as a regular person. Gregory Peck is the newsman who makes sure she has a good time in this 1953 flick, which will be shown at 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Osterhout Free Library, 71 S. Franklin St. Wilkes-Barre. 570-823-0156.

Wolf! Featuring Scott Metzger: $8. Scott Metzger, of Bustle in Your Hedgerow and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, is bringing Wolf! to Northeastern Pennsylvania. The trio will perform at 10 p.m. Feb. 20 at the River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 North River Street Plains. Wolf! will be joined by Wilkes-Barre’s own Suicaudio. Doors open at 8 p.m., and patrons must be 21 or older to enter.

SOLARiS: $5. On Feb. 20, New York-based instrumental 3-piece SOLARiS will bring its improv and experimentation to The Other Side, 119 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The 21-plus show starts at 9 p.m. and will feature support from Wilkes-Barre DJ Newpy Hundo and Harrisburg’s DigitalDavy.
