WILKES-BARRE — Four time Grammy winner Pat Benatar has made 10 records that have gone multi-platinum, platinum or gold. She’s recorded 19 top 40 singles including top 10 hits, “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong,” and “Invincible.” Now the 80s rock icon is coming to Wilkes-Barre.

Benatar will perform an acoustic set with husband and collaborator Neil Giraldo at 8 p.m. May 20 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre. Ticket prices are $45, $59 and $69, plus fees, and tickets are available through the Kirby Center box office, online at www.kirbycenter.org and via charge by phone at 570-826-1100.

A special presale for Kirby members will begin at 10 a.m. Feb. 18.

Widely considered the leading female rock vocalist of the 1980s, Benatar, with Giraldo, continues to sell out venues, entertain audiences and solidify her status as a living legend.
