WILKES-BARRE — Selections from artist and Northeastern Pennsylvania native Nina Davidowitz will be on display at Wyoming Valley Art League’s Sandra Dyczewski Maffei Gallery located at Circle Centre for the Arts, 130 South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre.

The opening reception will be held Jan. 15 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Davidowitz’s art will hang in the gallery until Feb. 27.

Davidowitz was born in 1959 and has worked as a professional artist for over 30 years. Davidowitz is a self-taught painter and received a master’s of fine arts in design from Marywood University in 2004. She was selected for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Awards for the Arts in 2006.
