WILKES-BARRE — On the eve of the release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have revealed the jersey players will wear during their Saturday, April 2 Star Wars promotional night.
The white CCM home jersey features a black and gold rebel alliance front crest with Penguins logo patches adorning its shoulders.
The Star Wars jerseys will be auctioned off after the Penguins’ April 2 game against Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Proceeds will benefit Commission on Economic Opportunity Weinberg Regional Food Bank.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will wear special Star Wars jerseys featuring a special rebel alliance front crest.
