WILKES-BARRE — Employee volunteers from Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital will make calls during the fourth annual Mammothon, set for 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. On that date, employee volunteers will make calls to women who are overdue for their mammograms and help them schedule an appointment. The committee recently met to finalize plans for the event, which coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a team, Commonwealth Health employee volunteers scheduled 488 mammograms in 2014.
