WILKES-BARRE — Presented by WRKC-FM radio host Edd Raineri in conjunction with Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison, Beatles tribute act Liverpool Legends will perform at 8 p.m. May 26 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square.

Liverpool Legends has entertained audiences around the world with performances at Carnegie Hall, The Rose Bowl, The Cavern Club in Liverpool, England and Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City in front of 16,000 fans.

According to a press release from the Kirby Center, the talented musicians and actors in Liverpool Legends were hand picked by Louise Harrison, and this will be their first visit to Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The band will perform songs from across the Beatles’ vast musical catalogue, even touching on the band members’ solo years, and the performance will include costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects.

Tickets range from $29.50 to $49.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31 through the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org and by phone at 570-826-1100.

A pre-sale for Kirby members will begin at 10 a.m. March 29 through the same outlets.
