Stronger Than Dirt. Admission costs $5 at the door. Stronger Than Dirt will perform at 10 p.m. Friday, March 10 at the River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 N. River St., Plains Township. The five-piece made up of Jose Teran, Wes Fahringer, Mike Whalen, Sunny Dee and Eric Harvey will play the music of the Grateful Dead. Doors open at 8 p.m., and patrons must be 21 or older to attend. Zine Fest Benefit Show. The price of admission is a $5 donation at the door. Scranton Zine Fest is hosting an all-ages benefit show from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, March 10, at The Other Side, 119 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Stay Loud!, Walau-eh, Karate Camp, University Drive, Earthmouth, Bloodeagle and Reflex Machine will perform during this effort to help cover costs associated with the organization and production of the festival. Senunas’ Parade Day Celebration. There is no cover charge for this event. Parade Day starts at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 12 at Senunas’ Bar & Grill, 133 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with kegs and eggs. Dealers from all over the Northeast will have tens of thousands of CDs, LPs, 45s, DVDs, books, ephemera and more for sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, 1073 state Route 315, Wilkes-Barre Township.
