A bluegrass band with roots in Missouri, The Hillbenders have earned a reputation for infusing their bluegrass with their various influences, including rock ‘n’ roll, and having impressive vocal power. Valentine’s Day Bash. Admission costs $7 at the door. Six local bands will be featured in a day of music that starts at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at The Leonard Theater, 335 Adams Ave., Scranton.
