American Evil, TheWay, Balero. Admission costs $5 at the door. A night of rock ‘n’ roll will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Feb. 10 into 11 at the Irish Wolf Pub, 503 Linden St., Scranton. Northumberland rockers American Evil will be joined by local acts TheWay and Balero on a triple bill. Patrons must be 21 and older to attend. The Hillbenders. Tickets cost $25 and are available at thetheateratnorth.com. A bluegrass band with roots in Missouri, The Hillbenders have earned a reputation for infusing their bluegrass with their various influences, including rock ‘n’ roll, and having impressive vocal power. They’ll perform their Americana string quintet version the Who’s classic rock opera “Tommy” in a performance titled “Tommy: A Bluegrass Opry” at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at The Theater at North, 1539 N. Valentine’s Day Bash. Admission costs $7 at the door. Six local bands will be featured in a day of music that starts at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at The Leonard Theater, 335 Adams Ave., Scranton. Traverse the Abyss, Slapjaw, Threatpoint, GlowNovember, Karate Camp and Piece of Mind will all perform on a large and diverse bill. All ages are invited to the show. Black Tie Stereo. There is no cover for this event. Black Tie Stereo will play an acoustic show from 8 p.m. to midnight Feb. 9 at the O Town Craft House, 400 Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant.
