Winter Paint Party. $32. Still feeling holiday-level stress in the first week of 2017? Work it out with some art therapy at Hawley Silk Mill, 8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley. The 6:30 p.m. Jan. 6 event’s $32 entry fee includes all materials for a 16” by 20” winter-themed piece. Artists of all skills age 16 and over can participate and are encouraged to bring significant others or friends. Frugal Fridays. $24. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday until March 3, Fernwood Winter Fun Center’s snowtubing is $24 per person (ticket includes a $5 credit to Wintergreens Patio Grill). Wade Preston. $22. If concert goers don’t know Wade Preston from his stint in the Broadway show “Movin’ Out,” the Inauguration Balls for President Obama, Vice President Biden and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, they may know him from working with Billy Joel. He’ll visit Hawley Silk Mill, 8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley, for a 6 p.m. performance Jan. 7. Entry is $22 and the show is open to all ages. For more information, call 570-588-8077.

Poconos Comedy Jam. $15. The night of Jan. 7 marks the start of a new weekly event at Wintergreens Patio Grill — Poconos Comedy Jam. Hosted by Shawn Harvey, the 21 and over event starts at 9 p.m. and has an entry fee of $15. The 124 Gold Drive, East Stroudsburg location will also hold an after party.
