Ugly Sweater Party. Admission is free. An Ugly Sweater Party and Comedy Jam takes place from 7 to 11 p.m. Dec. 24 at Wintergreens Patio Grill at Fernwood Resort, 124 Golf Drive, East Stroudsburg. The party is hosted by Shawn Harvey and music will be provided by DJ Hot Sause. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest sweater. Patrons must be 21 and older to attend.

Patent Pending. Tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show, and a VIP upgrade is available for $15 more. Internationally touring pop-punk band Patent Pending performs at 7 p.m. Dec. 23 at the Sherman Theater, 524 Main St., Stroudsburg. Magical Fireside Christmas. Admission costs $10 per person. Children ages 4 and under are admitted free. Holiday light displays, decorated trees, life-size ginerbrerad houses and a Santa’s workshop are showcased from 12 to 8 p.m. Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 at The Inn at Pocono Manor, One Manor Drive, Pocono Manor. Shawnee Traditions — Creches From Around the World. Admission is free. Over 100 small and large tableaus of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in the manger in Bethlehem are on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Jan. 3 in the Pearsall Room at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, 100 Shawnee Inn Drive, Shawnee on Delaware. The nativity scenes are on loan to the historic resort. Donations can be made at the display to benefit the Hands-On Disaster Relief.
