Holiday Market. Free! Snow or shine, Public Square in Wilkes-Barre will be full of arts, crafts, food vendors and live entertainment during this weekend’s Old-Fashioned Holiday Market. The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10. Admission is free, but expect to pay for any arts, crafts or food. As an added bonus, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will be on-hand from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 9 to raise money with horse drawn carriage rides. Rides are $5 per person and photos are available for $5 per photo. Tickets can be purchased started 3 p.m. Dec. 9 on the square across from F.M. Kirby Center.

Price Strong. $20. Enjoy all you can eat pizza, appetizers, baked goods and refreshments at Chako’s Family Bowling Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 10. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, basket raffles and live entertainment from Robb Brown, Matt & Friends and Group Therapy. Ugly Sweater Party. $5. Christmas sweaters are like reverse high school: the uglier the sweater, the more popular it is. At 8 p.m. Dec. 10, Bart & Urby’s will host an ugly sweater party at its 119 S. Girls Night Out. $18 to $50. It’s not just a girls night out — it’s Girls Night Out the Show. Billed as “the number one male revue show in Las Vegas,” Girls Night Out the Show will hit Wilkes-Barre’s Ali Baba Liquor Lounge, 219 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, 7 p.m. Dec. 11.
