Olde Time Christmas. Free! This week’s special events include a 5 p.m. Dec. 2 tree lighting ceremony in Josiah White Park, games, Christmas movies and face painting in Mauch Chunk Opera House’s ballroom starting 11 a.m. Dec. 3. Some events, like the train ride with Santa, are ticketed. For more information, call 1-888-546-8467.
