WILKES-BARRE — Country star Martina McBride has announced she’ll extend her Love Unleashed Tour into 2017, and those extra dates will take her to the Wyoming Valley.

McBride performs March 11 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, with special guest Lauren Alaina, according to an article on musicrow.com.

McBride has joined forces with CMT’s “Next Women of Country” franchise, an initiative that supports and showcases the current rising generation of female superstars, the article says.

Tickets start at $39.50 and go up to $99.50 plus fees. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9

and are available at the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org or charge by phone at 570-826-1100. Kirby member pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7.
