Honesdale for the Holidays. Free! On Nov. 25 and 26, Honesdale will hold its annual Santa Parade and tree lighting, a number of local businesses with hold open houses and other “seasonal fun” will be on-hand. Most of the events take place on Main Street — most parking around the town is two-hour metered parking, but long-term parking can be found on Church Street between 6th and 12th Streets. Magical Fireside Christmas. $10. On Nov. 25, Pocono Manor will open its Christmas attraction to the public. Kids can meet Santa and his elves, make ornaments and write letters to Santa. There will also be a live deer feeding area. Adult visitors can enjoy 10,000 square feet of holiday lights or a gourmet hot chocolate at the hot chocolate bar. Tickets to the event, held at the venue’s One Manor Drive, Pocono Manor location, are $10 or free for children under 4.
