Oktoberfest at Dilworth Park: Dilworth Park is hosting several days of beer tastings and other activities from Oct. 12-16. The beer fest kicks off Oct. 12. Over the weekend, starting at noon, local deejays will provide music and other performers will entertain at the park’s Saultoberfest Beer Garden. Saturday’s festivities run until 8 p.m. and Sunday’s until 6 p.m. The beer garden will sell craft beer and cocktails inspired by the fall. Bloktoberfest: The popular celebration returns to South Street in Graduate Hospital on Oct. 15. The free festival offers craft beer, food and live music. South Street restaurants will provide special food items and food trucks will be on hand. Pay as you go for food and drinks. There is live music and activities geared toward family. Philly’s Cheesesteak and Food Fest 2016: For the second year, Philly hosts a festival dedicated to the cheesesteak. On Oct. 15 enjoy cheesesteak and other Philly favorites from roast pork sandwiches to hoagies, pretzels and water ice. More than 50 vendors will offer food. There will be a cheesesteak eating contest, craft beer garden, food trucks, music and carnival games. The Phillie Phanatic will make an appearance and attendees can watch cooking demonstrations. The event runs from 12:30-5 p.m. General admission is $20, which includes free parking. Premium parking is $45, which includes free parking, 10 food samples, and two Phillies game tickets. VIP tickets are $65, which includes 15 food samples, early entrance, free parking, Phillies tickets, a commemorative cap and access to the VIP rooftop. Visit to purchase tickets.

East Falls Fall Fest: The second Autumn Street Festival takes place along the Schuylkill River in East Falls from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15. Hosted by the East Falls Fire Department and the East Falls Community Council, the event features a beer garden, food trucks, vendors, entertainment and an area for kids. The fire department’s trucks will be available for kids to explore, and equipment to try on. The rain date is Oct. 16 (11 a.m. to a5 p.m.). The event takes place at Inn Yard Park and Kelly Drive. Mural Arts Month: Mural Arts Month runs through October 31. The festival honors close to 4,000 works of public art in Philly. Walking and trolley tours are offered so attendees can explore the Ninth Street Stock Exchange project, mosaics and gardens. Events are free or pay-what-you-wish, including an evening of light and sound at the in-development Rail Park.
