Kacey Musgraves brings Christmas tour to Wilkes-Barre’s Kirby Center Dec. 9

WILKES-BARRE — Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves will visit the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. Dec. 9 for one of the first stops on her A Very Kacey Christmas Tour.

Musgraves’ upcoming holiday tour follows the Oct. 28 release of her first Christmas album, aptly titled “A Very Kacey Christmas.” The country star’s previous releases, 2013’s “Same Trailer Different Park” and 2015’s “Pageant Material,” both hit No. 1 on Billboard’s US Country chart. Her 2012 single “Merry Go ‘Round” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Tickets for Musgraves’ performance go on sale 10 a.m. Oct. 7 at the venue’s 71 Public Sq., box office, online at KirbyCenter.org or by phone at 570-826-1100. Kirby Center members can buy tickets during a special pre-sale period starting 10 a.m. Oct. 6.
