Cornstock Folk Festival. $20 to $60. The forth annual Cornstock Folk Festival returns to Tunkhannock Sept. 2 through Sept. 4. at Lazy Brook Park, 55 Overlook Dr., Tunkhannock. Tickets range from a $20 Sunday only pass to a $60 weekend pass, with add-ons available for campers, and kids 16-and-under are free. The Fort Awakens. Free! If you missed it in theaters originally, Forty Fort Park, located at 82 Park Pl., Kingston, will host its last public screening of the summer, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Sept. 2. Concessions open at 8 p.m. and the film begins at dusk.

Sordoni Gallery opening. Free! The Wilkes University on-campus art gallery will celebrate the opening of its newest exhibit, “Persistence: The Continuing Influence of Classical Myths,” from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Aug. 31.
