To celebrate the 151st birthday of Gifford Pinchot, former Pennsylvania Governor and first Chief of the United States Forest Service, all three floors of his mansion are open free to the public from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Aug. 11. PA Wing Fest. Free – $10. The 21st Annual Pennsylvania Wing Festival will run from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Pocono Raceway, 1234 Long Pond Rd., Long Pond. Roasted and steamed corn, beef, pork and chicken barbecue will all be available at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area’s Sweet Corn & BBQ Festival, held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Aug. 13 and 14 at the ski area’s 401 Hollow Rd., East Stroudsburg location.
