3 Doors Down headlines triple bill at Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre Sept. 7
WILKES-BARRE — An alternative rock triple bill hits Northeastern Pennsylvania as 3 Doors Down, Pop Evil and Red Sun Rising perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square.
Over a 16 year career 3 Doors Down has delivered smash hits like 2000’s “Kryptonite” and albums that have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart like 2005’s “Seventeen Days” and 2008’s “3 Doors Down.”
Their most recent studio effort, “Us And The Night” was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Train, Faith No More) throughout 2015.
3 Doors Down has also become known for its charitable work. The band started The Better Life Foundation in 2003, an organization that gives to the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Habitat for Humanity and various other charities. The foundation’s annual concert has hosted the likes of Lynard Skynard, Staind and Shinedown.
