SCRANTON — Our Cabaret, a Clarks Summit-based production company started in 2005 to provide stage-based fundraising options for charitable organizations, will help raise funds for Little Sisters of the Poor Scranton and their Holy Family Residence elderly care home.

“Nunsense” is an off-Broadway comedy of errors centering around the antics of Mother Superior and the Little Sisters of Hoboken. The two-act show will be performed Saturday, August 20 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 21 at 2 p.m. at Holy Family Residence, 2500 Adams Ave., Scranton. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and can be ordered at ourcabaret.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006.

Little Sisters of the Poor Scranton opened Holy Family Residence to the elderly community in 1908. The international Little Sisters of the Poor organization was founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan to serve elderly poor around the world.
