NEPA Dragfest. $10 – $30. From May 26 through 28, HEAT, at 71 North Main St., will host NEPA Dragfest. On Thursday, May 26, Jackie Beat presents Boner Killer. On Friday, May 27, Mimi Imfurst hosts Estella Sweet’s birthday bash. On Saturday, May 28, Loretta Jenkins, Ella Fine and Kristina Kelly host the fest’s grand finale. Punk Rock Donut Shop. Free! At 6 p.m. May 27, Bloodeagle, Vulturepeak, Lionshred and Foul Taste will play at Curry Donuts, 178 South Pennsylvania Ave. The free show kicks off the doughnut shop’s own summer concert series. The event is open to all ages — the only rules listed are “no drugs, alcohol or violence.”

Party like a Gentleman. $8. At 10 p.m. May 27, Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen will play their own CD release party at River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 North River St., Plains. The 21 and older event also features the band Half Dollar.

Poetry Showcase. $5. At 7 p.m. May 31, The Game Chateau’s poetry workshop will culminate with a poetry showcase featuring participant’s work. The showcase will occur at The Game Chateau’s 1112 Highway 315 location and will have an entry fee of $5.
