Wyoming Valley Art League celebrates Shakespeare’s legacy with Sunday at the Circle event April 24

WILKES-BARRE — On Sunday, April 24, Wyoming Valley Art League will hold the April installment of their monthly Sunday at the Circle event. The 4 p.m. event will occur at WVAL’s headquarters at 130 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre.

The event, a reading of WVAL member Robert Andrew Anderson’s “Another Tempest,” combines Shakespeare’s final play with the music of The Beatles. Theremin player Jason Smeltzer will provide music for the occasion, which will feature guest readers from the community like Anne Rodella, Erika Funke and Ron Kross.

Admission is free, but a donation of $10 is suggested. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
