SCRANTON — Northeastern Pennsylvania by way of Brooklyn electronic musician Quoth crafts his personal style using a mix of influences including breakbeat, goth, drum and bass, ambient and hip hop. His five studio records make him an authentic presence in the electronic scene in the region.

His alter ego, DJ Quoth is attempting to bring the ’80s back to Northeastern Pennsylvania. He’ll make an appearance at 9:30 p.m. April 2 at the Irish Wolf Pub, 503 Linden St. Spinning ’80s new wave, pop and post-punk he plans to turn the Irish Wolf into a retro dance party as part of the ’80s new wave revival he is spearheading.

There will be a $2 cover at the door the evening of the event, and a drink special will be available to patrons. Dancing a hole in the ground is encouraged.
