Nanticoke band playing Philadelphia’s This is Hardcore Fest

NANTICOKE — Local hardcore band Strength For A Reason has been announced as one of the many groups playing Philadelphia’s This is Hardcore Fest 2016.

They join a bill that includes headliners Turning Point, Youth of Today, Integrity and Gorilla Biscuits, as well as popular hardcore acts Terror, Strife and Floorpunch. Other Pennsylvania bands playing the fest include Greensburg’s Zao, Philadelphia’s Jesus Piece and Pittsburgh’s Code Orange.

Strength For A Reason formed in 1997 and released their debut album, “Show and Prove,” in 2001. Their latest LP, “Through Cold Eyes,” was released in 2013.

Tickets for the multi-day festival go on sale April 1 at thisisharecorefest.com.
