WILKES-BARRE — It’s time to break out the Vans slip-ons and checkered pants. On May 1, The Pietasters are skankin’ into Wilkes-Barre’s F.M. Kirby Center as part of the venue’s Live at the Chandelier Lobby concert series.

The Washington, D.C. ska act has more than 20 years of touring under their belts with bands like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and The Bouncing Souls, along with time on Warped Tour. Their latest album, “All Day,” was released in 2007.

Rude boys and rude girls can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25 for $20 in advance; they will be $25 at the door. To purchase a ticket, visit Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets or the F.M. Kirby Center box office at 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre.
