WILKES-BARRE — Twenty year veterans of the road Gaelic Storm are at it again. With 3,000 live shows under their belt, the Celtic rockers are returning to Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Gaelic Storm will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 30 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square. Tickets for the event cost $19.50, $29.50 and $39.50 and are available starting at 10 a.m. March 11 at the Kirby Center Box Office, by phone at 570-826-1100 or online at www.kirbycenter.org.

According to a press release from the Kirby Center, Gaelic Storm has built a diverse fan base that reaches everyone from bluegrass fans and country cowboys to Deadheads, rock ‘n’ rollers and Celtic fanatics. Their new album, Matching Sweaters mixes traditional Irish music with modern influences, creating a sound that’s as wide-ranging as their audience, according to the press release.

Gaelic Storm appeared in the Academy Award-winning film “Titanic” performing the song “Irish Party in Third Class.” They’ve gone on to top the Billboard World Chart five times, appearing at mainstream music festivals and headlining the largest Irish festivals across the country.
