SCRANTON — On Friday, March 25, WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan will bring his 2×4 Tour to Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton.
In 1988, Duggan became the first person to win WWE’s Royal Rumble match when he eliminated One Man Gang. Duggan went on to win the WCW United States and Television championships before returning to WWE and, in 2011, accepting induction into their Hall of Fame.
According to Laugh Out Lepka’s Comedy owner and promoter of the March 25 show Kevin Lepka, Duggan’s show is more than just a stand-up performance; he’ll tell stories drawn from his experiences as a professional wrestler
“He’s going to be telling stories about wrestling; behind-the-scenes stories, ring stories and road trip stories,” Lepka said. “He also has an interactive Q&A with the audience at the tail end of his performance.”
The show is scheduled to feature Lepka as host, as well as local comedians Alan Dudeck, Ted Hebert and Dan Hoppel.
General admission tickets for the 8 p.m. event are $25 and premium seating is $50. $100 VIP packages that include an autographed 2×4, a VIP-only meet and greet with Duggan from 7 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. (appetizers will be served) and priority seating are also available.
