Ripple Effect Artists is hosting a Chocolate and Wine Gala at 6 p.m. Feb. 12 at People’s United Bank, 250 Park Ave. Tickets are $40 and includes live entertainment, food, wine and chocolate samples. Proceeds benefit the theatre organization’s current season, which is raising awareness of women’s equality and sex-trafficking. The Sweetheart Soiree: Looking for an old fashioned romantic Valentine’s Day? Look no further than The Sweetheart Soiree, hosted by the same group that organizes the Jazz Age Lawn Party every year on Governor’s Island. The Soiree is taking over Norwood, a mansion dating back to 1847 on 14th Street at 9 p.m. on Feb. 13. There are four floors of secluded seats, dance floors, bars featuring artisanal cocktails, as well as delicious light snacks. Cupid’s Undie Run: Help raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation by participating in a 1 mile fun run (and party) in your undies. The event takes place at Stage 48 (W. 48th between 11th and 12th) at noon Feb. 13.
