    Valentine’s Day train ride: Board an old train car at 9 a.m. Feb. 14, in Port Clinton and enjoy a regular standard seat for $39 or relax in your own private Pullman room for $125. The train will arrive at Jim Thorpe around 11 a.m. Passengers will have some time to explore the area before departing at 3:30 p.m. to return to Port Clinton.     Crystal Cabin Fever: Take part in an interactive display made from more than 100 tons of ice. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday-Mondays until Feb. 29, at 311 Purdytown Turnpike, Lakeville, ride an ice slide, watch ice carving demonstrations and competitions.     Stroudsburg’s Winterfest: Embrace the winter season in Stroudsburg and enjoy winter-themed food and beverages, discounts at local shops, ice sculptures and carving demonstrations and other winter-themed activities. The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 12 and from 9 a.m. to 76 p.m. Feb. 13. The event is free and will take place at 18th and 7th Streets in Stroudsburg. Email [email protected]

    Paupack Plunge: With warmer-than-usual temps this winter, now is your chance to take part in a polar plunge. At 11 a.m. Feb. 13 at Pocono Action Sports at Lighthouse Harbor Marina, 969 Route 507, Greentown, brave the chilly water at Lake Wallenpaupack. A $25 donation is suggested and benefits the local dive and rescue team.
