WILKES-BARRE — Popovich Comedy Pet Theater, an all-ages show blending the physical comedy of Gregory Popovich with his 30-plus pets, will visit Wilkes-Barre’s F.M. Kirby Center 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5.

According to Popovich, who founded the theater and authored the book “You Can Train Your Cat,” all of the animals that perform in Popovich Comedy Pet Theater were rescued from animal shelters throughout the United States. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to The Humane Society of America.

Tickets for the event are available starting 10 a.m. Feb. 5, with a special pre-sale 10 a.m. Feb. 3 for Kirby Center members. Purchases can be made at Kirby Center’s box office or website, or by phone at (570) 826-1100. Prices range from $12.50 to $27.50.
