Showcasing eight different trucks, including the iconic Grave Digger, Monster Jam will bring the biggest assortment of monsters it has ever brought to Wilkes-Barre.

The world’s premier monster truck series will put on its high-powered display of speed and flight from Feb. 19-21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The event will also feature Backwards Bob, Stinger, Instigator, Backdraft, Prowler, Lone Eagle and Midnight Rider.

Monster trucks are about 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide with 66-inch tires, and they weigh at least 10,000 pounds. Jam trucks have the capability to put out 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower, can travel up to 100 miles per hour and can jump as far as 130 feet, a distance greater than the length of 14 cars parked side by side.

Tickets for the event start at $15 for adults and $10 for children and are available at the NBT Bank Box Office, by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20, and 2 p.m. Feb. 21. The Party in the Pits will take place on Feb. 20 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and it will give fans a chance to see the trucks up close and meet the drivers. Participants in Party in the Pits must have a ticket for Party in the Pits as well as a ticket for the Feb. 20 show at 2 p.m.
