WILKES-BARRE — Boston band and apparent Vonnegut aficionados Ice Nine Kills will play Wilkes-Barre record store Gallery of Sound Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. as part of a small unplugged tour to promote their debut Fearless Records release, “Every Trick in the Book.”

This is the fourth full-length from the band, who describe themselves as “melodically heavy.” Their run of in-store acoustic sessions comes after a month-long headlining stint on the nationwide Fresh Faces tour.

Fans who pre-order “Every Trick in the Book” at Gallery of Sound’s store or website before its Dec. 4 release will receive a wristband for priority entry into the Dec. 8 show, along with a poster for the band to sign at the event. Fans without wristbands will then be admitted until the space reaches capacity.
