JIM THORPE — The Sixties Show, a performance that aims to transport patrons back to the ’60s with period dress, equipment, news clips and set lists, will play Mauch Chunk Opera House Saturday, Nov. 14.

The band features musicians who’ve backed and worked with a number of notable musicians, including The Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney. The New York-based show is described as a “theatrical multimedia experience,” with narrations and news clips from the ’60s interspersed between hits of the era. The band performs in mod costumes playing and using ’60s musician gear.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $26 and can be purchased by calling (570) 325-0249 or by visiting mcohjt.com. Tickets can also be procured at SoundCheck Records in downtown Jim Thorpe.
