JIM THORPE—When former singer of folk band October Project Mary Fahl first visited Mauch Chunk Opera House in summer 2013, she told her husband that she needed to do a live recording at the venue. She satisfied that need in 2014 when she recorded “Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House,” and on Saturday, Nov. 21 she’ll return to the venue.

Her double-disc live record from Mauch Chunk won the 2014 Indie Acoustic Project Award for multi-genre Album of the Year and was put to video for a PBS special.

Tickets to the 8 p.m. event are $27 and can be purchased by visiting mcohjt.com, calling (570) 325-0249. Tickets can also be purchased at SoundCheck Records in downtown Jim Thorpe.
