Universal re-releasing ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy in theaters Oct. 21
Grab a friend. Grab some popcorn. Or maybe grab some candy from the Dollar Store. “Back to the Future” — parts I, II, and III — will be re-released in AMC chain theaters on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The special occasion comes after the 30th anniversary of the first film’s 1985 release, and just in time for the date Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel to in “Back to the Future II.”
In Northeast PA, two area theaters will be showing all three films back-to-back.
Regal Cinemas, in Dickson City, will start the trilogy at 5 p.m. Cost is $9.50 for adults; $7.25 for seniors and children. A ten minute intermission will happen between each movie.
Cinemark, in Moosic, will begin the series in their XD theater (similar to an IMAX experience) at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. An approximate 30 minute intermission will take place between each movie.
