Whether you love him, hate him, or have no idea who he is, Ryan Kenton Hertel, who goes by Kenton, is doing his thing and he’s doing it big. The 22-year-old DJ and music producer, from Dallas, made his national radio debut Friday morning when his #FlushTheFormat mix played on “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning,” a nationally syndicated radio show. Locally, the song played on 97.1 BHT during the 7 a.m. hour. It was also the premiere of his song, “#Fleek,” on national radio.

According to his SnapChat story, Kenton woke up at 6:30 a.m. to hear his song play on the radio.

Kenton posted on his official Facebook page Friday morning: “Another stepping stone achieved. I’ve already got plans in the works for my next big move.”

We’ll be looking out for that!
