Head to the Rock Star Job Fairs for the Pavilion at Montage Mountain on March 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. or March 23 from noon to 3 p.m., both held at the Woodlands Inn & Resort (1073 Hwy. 315, Wilkes-Barre)

The Pavilion is looking to fill over 150 part-time positions for the 2014 summer concert season, including ticket takers, ushers, housekeeping, parking, box office, guest services, operations, concessions personnel, and many others.

John Mueller’s Winter Dance Party comes to the F.M. Kirby Center on July 12 at 7 p.m. The party is the official live and authentic recreation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper’s final tour, and the only one endorsed by the Holly, Valens, and Richardson estates.

…can you celebrate the master of rhyme and funky characters, Dr. Seuss?

On March 29, the Scranton Cultural Center will host a Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash, beginning at 10 a.m. The event will feature arts and crafts, song and dance from the musical “Seussical, Jr!” and fun and games. In addition, attendees will be able to meet the staff of the Little Dragon Playhouse Summer Camp Program. The party even includes cake, which will be provided by Cathy Reppert of Truly Scrumptious. The fun will wrap up with a screening of Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax” at noon. And the best thing about it? It’s a totally free event.
