Most of 2014’s big games are coming out this holiday season. There’s something for every type of gamer to get excited about. Here are the top games for this season.

Family friendly Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham – Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, Vita, 3DS, PC – For the first time, battle in outer space with Batman and his allies. Unlock more than 150 characters with amazing powers and abilities, including members of the Justice League. Family friendly action, because everything is made from Legos.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – Wii U – Captain Toad is on a puzzling adventure. He sets off through a wide variety of tricky, enemy-infested, maze-like stages to find hidden gems and nab elusive gold stars.

Little Big Planet 3 – PS4 – The sequel to the beloved LittleBigPlanet series. Guide Sackboy through some of the best platforming on Playstation. There are new characters with cool abilities. The highlight of the LBP series is building your own game and play millions of games made by the community.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection – Xbox One – This game includes HD re-mastered versions of the first 4 Halo games in one collection. If you feel nostalgic or have missed one of the games now you can play the whole series.

Bayonetta 2 – Wii U Exclusive – The Bayonetta games might be the craziest most action pack game. Bayonetta 2 is a sequel and it is an incredible value because it comes with part 1.

Shooters Far Cry 4 – Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC – the follow up to 2012’s game of the year. This time it’s set in Nepal and you can ride on an elephant. The mountains and snow are a great change from the tropics.

Call of Duty: Advance Warfare – Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, PC – Get ready for a new era of warfare. Set in the future where battlefields are ruled by advanced technology and tactics. It is the best COD game in years with stunning visuals and some great updates.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Xbox One, PS4, PC, 360, PS3 – Lord of the Rings fans rejoice, the best game in the series, set in the time between the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. It has some of the best enemy A.I to ever be in a game. Sunset Overdrive – Xbox One Exclusive – The newest game from the studio that made “Ratchet & Clank”, set in a bright and colorful world after a tainted energy drink has turned everyone into mutants. Save the city in style as you combo together rail grinds and shoot a wacky weapons.

Assassins Creed Unity – PS4, Xbox One, PC – Introducing a new story, and new main character and co-op play. Unity is set in the French Revolution, and is the best looking in the series. Go it alone or team up with friends to do assassination missions and make history.

Mario Kart 8 – Wii U – The best Kart racer is back, with beautiful HD graphics, an all star roster of drivers and new tracks. Race along walls and upside-down! The best game in the series so far.

Super Smash Bros – Wii U/3DS – Every Nintendo character has joined the fight. One of the wildest and most fun fighting games on the market. Make your own fighter or use one of the new Amibos to import fighters into the game.

FIFA 15 – PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC – FIFA 15 brings soccer to life in incredible detail. The presentation is the closest to real life as you can imagine. With realistic fans commentary, this could be the best soccer game ever made.

Grand Theft Auto V – Xbox One, PS4 – An HD re-release of the fastest selling game of all time. Not only does it have significantly upgraded graphics, it now has a first person view that changes the game.

The Last of Us – PS4 – An HD re-master of one of the best games, with all the DLC included.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition – Xbox One, PS4, PC – Released in 2012, the closest thing you will find to a Jon Woo style kung fu action movie, now with gorgeous updated HD graphics and added DLC content.
